We are super excited to share that Nottingham Music Service is creating a Youth Advisory Board. We are looking for 13 – 18 year olds to be part of a new youth board that will support our charity’s vision to provide high quality music experiences for all.
This is a brilliant opportunity for young people who want to make a difference and shape the next generation’s musical experiences. The youth board will offer great experience in leadership and teamwork, and add value to your CV (if you’ve started working on those!). The main aims of the board will be to:
- Share ideas and feedback on NMS programmes, workshops and events
- Advise on how to make activities more inclusive and engaging for young people
- Highlight issues and barriers young people face in accessing music education
Members will meet once a term (three times in a year) and have the opportunity to work together and decide on further aims and roles for the board.
