MusiQuest 2024

Information for schools

Working as a class, take on weekly challenges, answer questions and unlock the clues! Classes will explore a range of musical concepts, taking part in interactive musical quests to take them through each stage.

There are 5 levels to take part in. Level 1 – 4 will be released every Tuesday in June, with a final Boss Level taking place in July. To take part, classes will need to answer questions (using Microsoft Forms) which will then be collated into a Nottingham city leader board. Musiquest is suitable for key stage 2 classes, but anyone is welcome to join.

Dates to remember:

Tuesday 4th June – Level 1 released

Tuesday 11th June - Level 2 released

Tuesday 18th June - Level 3 released

Tuesday 25th June – Level 4 released

Tuesday 25th June to Monday 8th July – Time to collect all 4 parts of the melody. If you complete level 4, work out the melody and score highly on the leader board you will be invited to take part in the final level.

Wednesday 10th July – Announcement of schools who are invited to take part in the final level. Those top of the leader board will be invited to take part in the final and book a time for Nottingham Music Service staff to visit your school. Finalist schools will get the chance to perform and present at least 1 challenge associated with each level.
